Building the next generation
The 2nd Youth Minifootball National Championship 2023 represented an important step in creating competitive opportunities for young players in India. By introducing children to national-level competition at U11, U13 and U15, the championship helped establish a developmental pathway through which players could progressively gain experience as they move through different age groups.
More than simply competing for trophies, youth championships such as this help young athletes develop teamwork, discipline, confidence, decision-making and a deeper understanding of the game.
